EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION

Schedules come out quarterly covering January – March, April – June, July – September, and October – December. A schedule will be posted on the bulletin board in the sacristy, and be posted on the web site.If anyone wishes to change the time(s) they prefer and/or for which they are available, they should contact Rich Wisniewski, so that any changes can be incorporated into the new quarterly schedules. In order to be included in the next quarterly schedule, change requests should be made as soon as possible. A minimum of two weeks notice is necessary to guarantee that a change request will be incorporated into the next schedule. As always, if you have any conflicts with the schedule, please contact another Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist/Lector to fill in for you.

Our parish offers a bereavement ministry to help those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.  Our 10 weeks bereavement group New Day/New Life will begin on June 4th at the resource Center from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Please call Rita at 860-583-6674 to register or to obtain more information.  The program is free and open to all.

 Defending Our Religious Liberty

  Religious freedom is a God-given right. It is protected in the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights of our U.S. Constitution, which dates back to Dec. 15, 1791. The government should not be allowed to force people or groups to violate their most deeply held religious convictions. To quote Cardinal Timothy Dolan, president of the USCCB, “Religious freedom is our heritage, our legacy, and our firm belief, both as loyal Catholics and Americans.” This is not a Catholic issue, it will impact all religions.
