Saturday at 3 PM or anytime by appointment.

Easter Schedule

  • Holy Thursday - 7:00 p.m.
  • Good Friday Solemn Service - 3:00 p.m.
  • Easter Vigil, Saturday - 8:00 p.m.
    *** No 8:30am Mass or 4 pm Mass
    *** At 11:30am there will be a blessing of the food
  • Easter Sunday - 7:00, 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.

  • Mar 24 2017 The Annual Men's Retreat Weekend
    Father Terry Kristofak and the retreat team from the Holy Family Monastery has been working on combining all the Bristol Deanery parishes together for one weekend.Please contact Larry Nadeau at 860-841-9058 or Ron Pelletier at 860-209-9347 for more information.    
  • Mar 24 2017 Bread and Soup
    During the Lenten Season we will begin having a soup and bread gathering prior to the Stations of the Cross each Friday evening.  All are invited to join us beginning at 6 p.m. in the Father Blaney Room.  Big Y Foods in Plainville will host our March 24th gathering. There will be no charge for the meal.  A free will offering to the poor can be made.  We hope that you can join us.

    The Stations of the Cross starts on the first   Friday after Ash Wednesday, March 3rd  at 7 pm,  and will end on Good Friday.  All are welcome!      
  • Mar 26 2017 Welcome the Stranger
    A Parish Reception after all weekend masses will be held to welcome new parishioners to our St. Matthew family and to visit with old friends    
  • Mar 26 2017 2017 Relics of the Passion
    SAVE THE DATE for a special  program for the Lenten Season  entitled “Call of the Crucified Heart: A Program with Relics of Christ's Passion”.       St. Matthew Church will host the presentation on Sunday, March 26, at 6:00 p.m.  This event allows participants of all ages, in any level of spirituality to deepen and grow in their faith. A unique collection of relics has been brought together in a program of meditations, music and prayers commemorating the events of Passion of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.For those of you that have attended this program in past years, this year’s version takes you to an even deeper level in your walk with Jesus during His Passion.    We encourage you to join us for a special opportunity that is sure to touch your heart and connect you with the roots of your faith
